Before Booking Please read all information carefully prior to booking. To ensure accuracy and proper care, each client must have their own booking account. Appointments must be scheduled under the name of the individual receiving services. This applies to all clients, including children. If you are a parent, guardian, or caregiver booking on behalf of someone else, please create the account using the client’s information, not your own. The individual listed on the appointment must be the same person receiving services at the time of the appointment.

Booking Guidelines
✔️ All services must be booked online. No same-day walk-ins or on-site bookings.
✔️ Mobile services require prepayment unless otherwise specified.
✔️ Services are provided in the client’s home, residence, or approved facility setting.
✔️ Massage Is Life provides professional, therapeutic, nonsexual services focused on relaxation, recovery, and supportive care.
✔️ Mobile services are not for convenience and are reserved for individuals who are unable to access traditional in-office care due to their condition, mobility, or circumstances.
✔️ It is the responsibility of the client, parent, guardian, or caregiver to ensure that mobile massage services are permitted within the home, facility, or agency setting prior to booking.
If services cannot be performed due to lack of approval or denied access upon arrival, the appointment will be considered completed and all payments are non-refundable.

These are not traditional massage services. These are specifically designed for individuals who cannot receive massage in a typical setting—those with different abilities, complex needs, or requiring bedside/hospital-based care.
If you’re able to come into the office and receive a standard session, these services are not the right fit.
And this is exactly why there is no immediate access to booking these services—the consultation is required first to determine if it’s appropriate and safe.

Inclusion Wellness
Supportive, accessible care for individuals with different abilities who may benefit from a more personalized, adaptive approach outside of a traditional setting.
Comfort & Recovery Care
Gentle, supportive care for individuals navigating illness, injury, or recovery. Services are tailored to meet you where you are, including bedside support when needed.
End-of-Life / Hospice Care
Comfort-focused care centered on presence, compassion, and dignity during end-of-life. Scheduling and policies are handled with flexibility and understanding based on each situation.
The Bed Rest Mama
Supportive prenatal care for expecting mothers on bed rest who are unable to receive services in a traditional setting. Sessions are designed to promote comfort, relaxation, and gentle support during pregnancy.

Prepayment & Refund Policy
✔️ All services are prepaid and non-refundable due to the time, travel, and preparation required for mobile appointments.
✔️ Services are non-transferable.
End-of-Life / Hospice Care Policy Exception
For individuals receiving hospice or end-of-life care:
• Prepayment and cancellation policies may be adjusted at the therapist’s discretion
• Sessions may be canceled or discontinued without penalty due to changes in condition
• Scheduling may require flexibility based on care needs
This is handled on a case-by-case basis with compassion and understanding

Hygiene & Environment Standards
Clients are expected to provide a clean, sanitary, and appropriate environment for mobile services.
The area where services will take place should be:
Clean and free of excessive clutter
Free of strong or unpleasant odors
Suitable for safe and professional bodywork
Clients are also expected to maintain personal hygiene appropriate for close-contact services.
If the environment or hygiene conditions are deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or inappropriate, the session may be declined or discontinued. In such cases, the appointment will be considered completed and all payments are non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) result in loss of the prepaid service.
No-shows result in:
• Loss of the prepaid service
• Loss of future booking privileges
Rescheduling Rules:
• Must be requested outside the 24-hour window
• One reschedule per appointment
• Must be used within 45 days
• Additional reschedules may result in forfeited session

Arrival, Access & Environment Requirements
✔️ The service environment must be safe, clean, and accessible
✔️ Clear access is required, including:
• Walkways and driveways cleared
• Snow removal and salting when applicable
• No hazards that could impact safety
✔️ Adequate space must be available for setup and movement
✔️ If the environment is unsafe, inappropriate, or not ready at the time of arrival:
→ The session may be canceled
→ The appointment will be considered completed
→ Payment remains non-refundable

Caregiver & Support Requirements
A parent, guardian, caregiver, or staff member may be required to be present during sessions based on the client’s needs.
Massage Is Life does not provide lifting, transferring, or full physical assistance without appropriate support present.

Health, Illness & Safety
If the client or members of the household are experiencing illness (fever, cough, cold, stomach virus, contagious conditions, etc.), the session must be rescheduled.
If illness is present upon arrival:
→ The session will be canceled
→ The prepaid service is forfeited

Forms & Intake
All required forms must be completed prior to the consultation and/or session.
Incomplete forms may result in:
• Delays
• Reduced hands-on time
• Or cancellation of the appointment

Professional Conduct
All services are strictly professional, therapeutic, and non-sexual.
Any inappropriate behavior will result in:
• Immediate termination of the session
• Loss of payment
• Permanent loss of booking privileges
• Further action if necessary

Parking Policy
I understand that any parking fees associated with the service location are the responsibility of the client and must be covered or reimbursed at the time of service.

Rebooking & Payment Options (On-Site)
Clients may rebook future appointments at the time of service.
Accepted forms of payment for on-site rebooking include:
• Cash (exact amount only)
• Credit or Debit Card
• HSA / FSA cards
• Independent Health Extras
All payments for future services are required at the time of booking and are subject to all standard policies, including prepayment and non-refundable terms.

Understanding & Respect
These services are designed to provide intentional, supportive care for individuals with specific needs.
Policies are in place to ensure safety, structure, and consistency for every client.
By booking, you acknowledge and agree to all policies listed above.
Booking Process (After Consultation Approval)
Once approved for services, you will receive an email with instructions to book your appointments.
When signed into your account, only the services you have been approved for will be visible and available for booking.
Your initial service must be booked online through the booking system.
After your appointment, future sessions may be scheduled or rescheduled on-site if needed.
In-person consultations are required for all mobile services.
Because my mobile services are very particular and tailored to specific needs, this ensures the following:
-Services are safe, appropriate, and aligned with each individual’s condition
-The environment is suitable and properly set up for care
-Positioning, comfort, and support needs are fully understood in advance
-Any medical considerations or required clearances are identified beforehand
-Expectations are clear for everyone involved prior to scheduling services
-Services are being utilized appropriately and not misused in place of standard in-office care
This step allows me to provide the highest level of care while maintaining safety, structure, and intention in every session.
Gratuity / Tipping
Is gratuity accepted?
Gratuity is not accepted.
All services are priced to reflect the value, time, travel, and level of care provided. No additional tipping is expected.
